Shipping policy

All items are shipped within 1-3 business days of payment via Royal Virgin Islands Postal Services. 

Local Shipping

Customers residing in the Virgin Islands (UK) can opt not to have their packages sent to the Post Office and use other local delivery methods . Customer will be contacted via email or telephone once order is fulfilled to arrange delivery.  Customers will have 48 hours to confirm delivery before package is sent to BVI Postal Service.

Tortola- Customer must provide a general location and time to schedule delivery. Customer can also arrange for personal collection. Customer will receive a delivery confirmation once package is delivered.

Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke-  Orders will be delivered via local ferry services.  Customer must collect the package the same day it was shipped as ferry services do not have storage facilities for packages.  Customer will receive shipping  and delivery notification via email and telephone for confirmation. 

International Shipping

International shipping will vary depending on location any can take up to 4 weeks.  Please note that International First Class shipping cannot be be tracked depending on delivery location.  If there is a tracking number available, it will be provided in the Shipping Confirmation. Where given the option, all packages must be signed on delivery. Once an order and payment is made, shipping confirmation will be sent  via email. Please ensure the email address provided is valid.

All international packages are personally delivered to the post office. Once packages are in the Postal Services hands, Embellished Works is not liable for loss or theft.  Packages are processed and shipped during the weekdays and any orders placed on weekend or public holidays will be processed the following business day.

DELAYS

International packages may be delayed due to customs processing. Please take this into consideration and order in advance. Also, please note that on rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances, shipping schedule might be interrupted which can affect delivery time. If this should happen, customer will be contacted via email ASAP so that other arrangements can be made.

SHIPPING ADDRESS 

The package will be shipped to the address the customer provided at checkout. If a package is returned due to incorrect address at checkout, the customer will be required to pay any new shipping charges.  It is therefore important to review the information provided before purchasing. Embellished Works will not issue a refund or replace a package sent to a wrong address, unless it was a company error.  Please contact Embellished Works immediately to rectify any errors. Once the shipping confirmation is sent, customer will incur all charges if they are at fault.   

International Custom Fees (Duty Charge)

Some countries may charge duty on imported packages.  It is customer's responsibility to pay all customs fees and taxes charged by their government.
